LAHORE, 17th Feb 2023: Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi attended the Annual Sports Day of Kinnaird College as Chief Guest here on Friday.
Sports Board Punjab always encouraged sports activities in schools, colleges and universities of the provinc, DG Sports Punjab.
Director Youth Affairs Syed Umair Hassan, Director Sports Chand Perveen, Principal Kinnaird College Rukhsana David, Chief Sports Consultant SBP Hafeez Bhatti, Director Sports Ammara Rubab and a large number of students were also present on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi declared the Annual Sports Day of Kinnaird College open at the colorful ceremony and also witnessed different exciting competitions. Director General of Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and Director of Youth Affairs Syed Umair Hassan were given shields on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi also distributed medals and certificates among the top performers of Annual Sports Day.
Talking to media on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that Sports Board Punjab (SBP) always encouraged sports activities in schools, colleges and universities of the province. “We are organizing the Inter-Collegiate Sports Championship with the collaboration of Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi appreciated the performances of female athletes in multiple events during the Annual Sports Day.
