LAHORE, : FG/Din Polo outpaced BN Polo 8-4 in the only match of the Maj Gen Saeed-ul-Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup played here at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Thursday.
For FG/Din Polo, brothers Sheikh Muhammad Farhad and Sheikh Mohammad Raffay slammed three goals each while Shah Shamyl Alam and Raja Jalal Arsalan converted one apiece.
Raja Samiullah hammered a hat-trick for BN Polo while Haider Naseem scored one.
FG/Din Polo scored only one goal in the first chukker but they dominated the second, smashing four goals to take a firm 5-0 lead.
BN Polo though made their presence felt in the third chukker by scoring one but the winners banged home twice to increase the lead to 7-1, as the match seemed a one-sided affair.
In the final chukker while the winners added one more goal the losing side scored three.
